LUCCHINI SWEDEN AT ELMIA NORDIC RAIL 2011

From 4th to 6th October 2011, Lucchini Sweden participates at ELMIA NORDIC RAIL, the market leading rail fair, in a Jonköping (Sweden). Lucchini Sweden (100% Lucchini RS) has a long tradition in the production of railway wheels, axles and full wheelsets and today is the only manufacturer of these products in Scandinavia. The main production is focused in the machining of wheels, tyres and wheelsets. All wheelsets are designed for low cost utilization and maintenance. The development of new products focuses on wheelsets for heavy haul and for high speed trains in Scandinavian climate with 50° degrees centigrade. The plant is equipped with a machining shop for wheels, tyres, axles and for the assembly of complete wheelsets and with two test rigs, one for brake experiments and one for noise measurements. Lucchini Sweden will be at Elmia Nordic Rail, the platform for companies, organizations and people with a professional interest in the railway, primarily in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
